Information 5
There are 3 factors that elevated the event today even above the usual The Game format.
1. It is a coorperative game. Clues taken along different routes are interlinked so that all groups are dependent on one another to solve the entire 60 location puzzle. This is only possible because of the participation from many presbyterian churches.
2. Though later versions of The Game has become increasingly IT based, being one of the latest version means that we get to hide even more clues in the cyberspace. So blogs, web comics, photo albums, networking sites, MSN etc were utilised.
3. This event was done in love. Sacrifices from both organizers and participants were made because we believe in giving so that all may receive. And like all acts of love, I hope the good will can continue to multiply in the future of our Presbyterian unity.
just wanna voice comments on the overall organisation of this event.
i think the event, to me, was quite bad. i think insufficient information was given to the participating church(es).
1. wasn't told to bring bible or anything, and there was no thorough and clear briefing given. clue was given when the whole grp still didnt noe What in the World is going on, and how the game is Exactly carried out.
2. at KCP hall, in-charge did not command attention, which is smth tat is quite annoying, since every1's mumbling and in-charge is not speaking clearly also. e.g all of a sudden some guy comes up and says "I declare the race open." like HUH?? what??? i dun see any structure, and it just feels very disorganised to me.
3. Ending destination is Jubilee Church, and we were told to solve the clues for *i dunno what end destination or smth* and ended up nobody did anything. no1 knew wad was going on. what clues? what code word thing? and all of a sudden, "Now we will present the prizes to the winning team." LIKE HUH??? and NOT ALL grps are back yet. even after the photo taking (yes, i was the 1 who shouted back "byebye") and every1 was leaving, there was still a grp which cabbed in to jubilee church. like how *!?!?!?!* is that???
anyways i noe this is a OneBody blog, but yea, i just had to voice all these out, cos im totally not happy with the event, sometimes event when things dun go well, ppl leave with a sense of satisfaction.. but this event was a failure to me, it made me feel UPSET, and worst of all, i feel like de event was completed half-heartedly, didnt gimme a sense of satisfaction AT ALL.
however, kudos to the in-charge for making such bloody difficult clues, much effort has been put in, but i think due to this mebe u've neglected the main part of the events? oh. and i rmb the in-charge, siow hwee was it?he said smth abt this event being "bonding for presbytarian churches" etc etc? i TOTALLY DID NOT see anything that helped us to bond. there was no activities to bond the team members.
this event's called Amazing Race rite, or so i heard. and i thought there'd be activities (probably team bonding) at every station to be completed b4 getting a clue to the next destination, but what happened just now was only "take clue, 1/3 of the team solve the clue as the others are not interested, solve clue, move to next station, cycle repeats".. seriously.. if u ask me, i'd have said the same thing even if OneBody won.. and personally, this leaves a pretty bad impression on me, and i wld really think Thrice on joining another event held by the Synod (i've heard bad stuffs abt the youth camp as well)..
just my $0.02.. cheers on those who gave their efforts.. THE CLUES WERE FREAKING HARD. zzz

Can all group leaders invite everybody in your team into this blog and we can continue the fellowship long after this Games?
Lastly, take a look at the other blogs One spirit and One faith.
Thank You
And before I close, like Wilson, I'd like to thank all the fabulous GLs of onebody.
Amos, Ben, Hannah, Serene, Wilson, David, Desiree, Derek, Wenyao. Though our bonding time was short, each one of you is special to me for GOD placed you there with specific purpose. I sincerely thank all of you for the efforts that you've all put in and for the amazing fellowship you have provided. I propose that we come together in a time of thanksgiving and find time to sit down to dinner without having any technical worries.
And of course my lovely "team I" consisting of Sam, Tim, Mingshen, Jun Kai, Raymond, Guangqin. Thanks for sticking thru it all with this blur sotong. It has been my pleasure and honor to have you as my group members. May our fellowship last beyond the games.
With love from your sister in Christ,
Rachel

Here's how we solve our clues:
- all the actors / directors involved in the movie jams. jaws in chinese = 白沙鱼. so 白沙 = white sands shopping centre... 270.2092 is the reference number of the book in library by author chu. HAHA!
- the letters were all jumbled up and we had to de-code it! ok.. honestly, we called our game control to ask for help! so it's some gallop stable thing... and it starts pouring as we leave white sands!
- the biggest playground is in pasir ris park!
- this one is really tough! we surfed the net thinking we would find something like that. finally found the website www.xkcd.com (clue from synod youth blog). go to 388 to take a look. hushpuppies and g2000 are the answers! (:
Experiences:
- eating mac and enjoying the juicy burgers. free power supply from mac! very full and satisfied... :D
- we left white sands and it started pouring! thank God the rained stopped when we reach the playground. else, we would have been like 落汤鸡!

- we were leading when we left the playground. somehow the solving of the clues took us a super long time... actually we should have asked the game master for help earlier! and the laptop went off to rest as it had no POWER left... -.-'''

Here's how we solve our clues:
- Read backwards and rearrange letters (4 characters by 4 characters). Actually there's no set way of solving, we're just playing by ear. E.g. "Specifically the first location you have to find..." Find the words that were replaced (there are differences between the text on the memorial and the text on your paper), and the first letter of the words will tell you to go to BBPC.
- String all the military alphabet together try to make sense of it?? Kilo, India, November, Echoes/echo, Tango, india, charlie, golf, alpha, romeo, delta, echoes, november, papa, echoed, echo, papa.Kinetic garden, Science Centre!
- Put the paper behind the red filter in the Kinetic Garden. Dark dots should be more obvious. Go online and learn how to read braille. Then can read the message. "Make your way down to Fuji Ice Palace."
- Flintstone's favourite game is bowling. The bowling pins are numbered 1 to 10 starting from the single pin in front, from left to right. So the numbers given help you trace out letters that form the words "Jurong Lake".

While we are on the topic of blogs, visit the Synod Youth Blog. You might find hidden information there.
Information 1
What do you do:
1. Upon receiving clue, blog inside here all important information.
2. Upon solving clue, blog inside here how you solved your clue.
3. Upon reaching the next location, blog inside here your experiences there.
Therefore:
1. You are dependent on the information provided here you help solve your clues. The information you provide here will help other fellow groups in your team to solve their clues. It is a cooperative game.
2. In your free time, if there is any, mark the progress of other groups in your team, and help them solve their clues if you can, if they cannot progress fast enough, they might hamper your own progress.
3. Answer questions here that other teams might need with regards to information that might help them in their clue solving. This means you should always read up comments on your entries.
Hence:
1. Proper labeling and titles is very important. Entries by your group should be group A or B, etc. Locations should be stated clearly in the title, e.g. B3 or J5 or H1 depending on which stage of the game your group is currently at.
2. Make sure your entire group participate. Every clue should be a 80-100 players solving exercise, not just a single group effort. With such a big group, no trivia is impossible.
3. Have Fun!!!

The Legendary Synod Youth Council
The ten met for the last time in the sanctuary of their headquarters, a sanctuary that was fast disintegrating.
“We have no more time. We cannot afford to stay here any longer. We have to leave now.” One among them spoke.
The ten looked at each other, their secret utmost in their minds.
“We will protect it at all costs, whatever the price. This is our legacy.”
He spoke fast. “We will use our talents. One each. We will create a trail, one that will enable those that come after us to uncover the secret. This way, we will never be lost. I believe that one day, someone will follow our trails, piece together the puzzle and uncover the truth. Then we shall be able to return.”
The ten agreed.
Ten Men. One heritage.
Ten talents. One legacy.
Talents. Gifts. Only one each but abundant as a group. Quickly, each used their talents to create a trail that when pieced together, would lead to the ultimate discovery.

Ten as diverse as can be. Yet each cannot stand alone. Only the unity of ten would bring about the truth, as it has been, as it should be.
With that, they came together for the last time and put their hands together. Eyes closed, they felt each other’s faith, each other’s passion, each other’s hope.
One last grip of hands. One last nod at each other.
They separated. One in each direction. Ten shadows radiated outwards from a common center, all moving too fast for anything more than a glance at them. The sanctuary collapsed. They continued moving away, away from each other, away from their land, away from their legacy. However, they believed that the trails they left behind would more than suffice in protecting their secret from the undeserving and in leading the deserving to the truth. They just had to bide their time and wait for the day where they can come together again in all their glory.
One day there will rise a group brave enough to restore the Christian truth.
One day they will see their legacy uncovered.
One day they will return in triumph.
A request
If one of you would bring along a bible, it might come in handy. Just saying.
